Ep #30: Emotional Power
Emotional Power
The opposite of emotional power is emotional powerlessness. Often times people attribute emotional intelligence or awareness to the ability to control your emotions. Yes, that's important, but emotional power is different. It is the foundation for emotional intelligence, emotional agility, emotional control, and all things emotional! Emotional power can all be boiled down to taking responsibility for how you feel in every moment. No matter what is happening around you. Even if you know how to "control yourself" you may not be taking responsibility in this fundamental and powerful way. Knowing how and why you are responsible is the gateway to true emotional mastery. Listen in to this episode of The Healthy Leader Podcast to find out how to take back your emotional power and truly be in control of your happiness while growing as a leader.
